To make sure we're "walking the walk," Interface enlists outside partners to help us evaluate the entire product lifecycle and reduce the environmental and human health impact of our flooring. Learn more about each of our certifications and what that means for your next project.
Interface has consistently shared our progress and data on the impacts of our products and processes. Over the years, we’ve supported tools that encourage transparency, such as Environmental Product Declaration (EPD).
Indoor air quality is proven to affect the health, well-being and productivity of people who inhabit a space.
All Interface flooring is third-party certified for low VOC emissions in compliance with the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) 01350 Standard. This is the standard used by certifications like Green Label Plus.
Along with key meeting ISO and EN certifications for our carpet tile and resilient flooring, Interface partners with outside organisations to help us evaluate and reduce the life cycle impact of our flooring products.
When you choose Interface flooring, you’re on the path to a more sustainable space. You’re choosing to reduce the carbon footprint of your space and help improve the health of the planet.
The flooring products that we sell including carpet tile, LVT and nora® rubber are carbon neutral across their full product life cycle through our third party verified Carbon Neutral Floors™ program. And we calculate your floor’s impact so you can see its contribution to reducing global warming.
