Leading the Charge for Greener Buildings

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is a rating system developed and administered by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) to certify the environmental performance of buildings. Building projects can earn points to achieve different levels of LEED certification (Platinum, Gold, Silver or Certified) by documenting sustainable choices made in building design, material selection and building operations.

Interface has partnered with the USGBC and its LEED Rating System for more than two decades to grow the market for green buildings and products. Interface staff have served as USGBC Board Chair on two occasions and have sat on numerous USGBC committees over the years. USGBC also presents the Ray Anderson Award for Radical Industrialism each year at Greenbuild to honor the legacy of our founder Ray Anderson. Find us on Ecomedes to learn more about our products and the ways they can contribute to LEED and WELL certifications.
