JOINT SEALING

1-COMPONENT JOINT SEALING COMPOUND

For all nora floor coverings. 
1-component, Article 928, 300 m cartridge, sufficient for 20-25 r.m. 

noraplan ed/ec floor coverings must always be joint sealed with nora cold weld. noraplan acoustic can be cold or hot welded. For all others nora floor coverings, sealing is not generally necessary. However, we do advise sealing the joints if the subfloor is moisture-sensitive, in rooms subject to intensive wet cleaning, or in areas with special hygiene requirements. In these cases, we recommend sealing all nora® floorings.

HEAT WELDING ROD

For noraplan and noravant.
Article 946, Round, approx. 4 mm, rolls of 100 linear meters

nora floorings do not shrink because they contain no volatile plasticizers. With the exception of acoustic, due to its resilient structure, other noraplan floors do not need to be welded (for noraplan ed/ec see cold welding). nora heat welding is recommended when the nora flooring has been installed in rooms with continual and intensive wet cleaning, in areas with stringent requirements for hygiene or other special requirements such as operating rooms and laboratories.

SIGNAL- & SAFETY STRIPES

norament® stairtreads can be equipped with signal or safety stripes

 

Phosphorescent

Signal stripes yellow phosphorescent in accordance with DIN 67510, in a width of 2 cm, integrated into the tread area of the stair nosing.

Coloured Signal Stripes

Signal stripes uni integrated into the tread area in widths of 2, 3, 4 or 5 cm (5 cm not for pastilled stairtreads) and alternatively also in widths of 2 or 3 cm in the vertical part of the stair nosing.

Safety Stripes with increased Slip Resistance

Safety stripes ultra grip for increased slip resistance in widths of 2, 3, 4 or 5 cm (5 cm not for pastilled surface) integrated into the tread area and alternatively in widths of 2 or 3 cm, also in the vertical part of the stair nosing.

Custom Stripes

Signal and safety stripes in other widths and colours are available on request. Please ask for minimum quantities and delivery times.

This nora® stair nosing is made from anodized aluminium and create aesthetically pleasing stairway designs. They emphasize the elegance of the stairs and create a discreet connection. The edge is designed for a floor covering thickness of 3.5 mm and can also be used for 2 mm thick coverings if suitably filled.
Plug-in lip for quick, simple, smooth installation of any type of stair.
