JOINT SEALING
COLD WELD
1-component, Article 928, ~1 lb (450 grams) for ~50-60 linear feet (15-18 linear meters)
noraplan and norament floor coverings do not need to be sealed. They do not contain any plasticizers and there is no shrinkage after installation.
In certain installations, sealing the joints may be recommened - in areas with constant wet cleaning, labs, or spaces with specific hygiene needs to ensure a dense, homogenous surface.

nora flooring does not shrink because it does not contain volatile plasticizers.
With the exception of noraplan acoustic, due to its resilient structure, other noraplan and noravant timber floors do not need to be welded.
Heat welding is recommended for nora flooring in areas with constant wet cleaning, strict hygiene needs, or special environments like operating rooms and labs.

VISUALLY IMPAIRED STRIPS
for norament stairtreads
norament stairtreads can be equipped with a range of nora visually impaired strips to guide users or mark the edge of stairs in areas with safety or accessibility concerns.

Photoluminescent
A photoluminescent option is available upon request: Color Photoluminescent 8019
Textured strips
When safety is a concern, add textured visually impaired strips in Safety Yello 8012, Ocean Grey 8014, or Black 8015.
Smooth strips
When accessibility is a concern, add smooth visually impaired strips in Light Grey 0122, Yellow 0895, or Black 0597.
Installation
To ensure safety and performance, nora epoxy stair filler is used under the stair tread nosing when installed with nora visually impaired strips.
