ReEntry® Reclamation and Recycling
In fact, over four billion pounds of carpet end up in landfills each year in the US. While about 14% of post-consumer carpet is collected (according to CARE), less than 5% of that is recycled. But at Interface we have been actively collecting and recycling post-consumer vinyl backed carpet tiles – ours and our competitors’ - for over 20 years.

Closing the Loop
Most valuable to us is our own LVT and any approved vinyl backed carpet tile. Contrary to reports, vinyl is highly recyclable! Our ReEntry program is 3rd party certified in our GreenCircle Certified Environmental Facts. It’s one of the main reasons why we continue to use PVC, which contributes to us having the lowest carbon footprint in the industry.
We work with collection partners all over the US, and we’re always looking for more, including you. You can include the ReEntry specification as part of your waste diversion strategy for your project.
