To make sure we're "walking the walk," Interface enlists outside partners to help us evaluate the entire product lifecycle and reduce the environmental and human health impact of our flooring. Learn more about each of our certifications and what that means for your next project.
Transparency Documentation
Interface has consistently shared our progress and data on the impacts of our processes and products. Over the years, we’ve supported tools that encourage transparency, like the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), Health Product Declaration (HPD), and Declare label.
Indoor air quality is proven to affect the health, well-being and productivity of people who inhabit a space. All Interface flooring and adhesives are third-party certified for low VOC emissions in compliance with the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) 01350 Standard. This is the standard used by certifications like Green Label Plus, GREENGUARD Gold, and FloorScore and accepted by green building rating systems like LEED and WELL.
Along with meeting ISO and NSF certifications for our carpet tile and resilient flooring, Interface partners with outside organizations to help us evaluate and reduce the life cycle impact of our flooring products.
