Frequently Asked Questions about EverGreen Lease



We are doing a new build project at our school with an architect, can we still lease the carpet?

Yes you can, although this will depend on the ‘stage’ of the project. Interface will work with your Architect to assess the situation and advise the best solution.

Has Interface supplied to schools and Universities in Australia in the past?

Interface has been working in the Education sector in Australia since 1973. In that time we have become the leading carpet tile supplier to the K-12 and Tertiary segments in Australia.

How long is the warranty?

All Interface products have a 20 year Warranty when used within education spaces. You will receive a detailed copy of the Warranty at completion of this project.

What is the maximum term available on the Evergreen Lease?

The Evergreen Lease maximum term is 10years (120 months).

Can I do separate refurbishments over several years under the same agreement?

Yes. The Evergreen Lease is a master agreement, and once initial approval is given, new purchases can be secured through a simple schedule addition. Your Interface Account Manager will take you through the process.


Product & Design

Can I choose any product from the interface range?

Yes, all products within the range are available including carpet and LVT.

Is there a limit on the number of different products I use?

No there are no limits to the number of products you can use. Our design team will assist you in the selection process to assure that the products chosen are fit for purpose. Please note that for certain ranges and made to order products including Cushionbac, minimum volumes do apply.

What is involved in the design process?

Your Account Manager will work closely with you to select products and layouts that suit your education environment.


Manufacturing and Lifecycle

Where is the product made?

Is it carbon neutral?

Yes, all our products are 3rd party verified Carbon Neutral. At completion you will receive a certificate stating the volume of Carbon saved by using Interface carpet.

What happens to the product at the end of its life?

At Interface we completely recycle our product, through our Re-Rntry process at our Minto facility.

What happens if I don’t want to replace the carpet at the end of the lease term?

As there is only a nominal residual value on the carpet at the end of the term, you will be able to keep the product at no additional cost until you are ready to replace it.

What happens at the end of the carpets life if I don’t want to replace it with Interface product?

While we hope that this wouldn’t be the case, it is completely your choice. Interface will work with the contractor to ensure that any unwanted Interface product it returned to Interface for recycling.


Ordering Process

Is there a minimum order size?

While we do not have a minimum $ order value in Place for Evergreen Lease, we have a minimum order volume of 500 square metres. This can include carpet alone, or carpet and LVT combined.

When do I have to complete the order, is there a time limit?

You do not have to complete the installation within a specified time frame, but please be aware that while the product and installation quote is generally valid for 30 days. Interest rates quoted are strictly held for 30 days.



Can I use my own carpet contractor?

Yes you can. Evergreen will work with your contractor to complete the program. Warranty conditions dictate that the carpet must installed as per Interface’s guidelines.

Can I pay the contractor separately outside of the Evergreen Lease?

As part of the Evergreen Leasing Interface would prefer to keep the installation as part of the program.

Are all the installation costs covered in the Evergreen Lease?

Yes, from design, removal and disposal existing product, floor prep and installation of new product. A detailed quote will be provided to the school outlining all inclusions.



Who is the finance from for the Evergreen Lease?

Our funding is supplied through Finlease Equipment Finance, backed by Westpac.

Who are Finlease?

Is the interest rate fixed?

Yes the interest rate is fixed for the life of the Evergreen lease.

Am I able to pay out the Evergreen Lease at anytime?

Yes you are. The Master Agreement lists the process involved.
