Interface Carpet Tile Wins 2012 Best of Year
The architectural and design community has voted two Interface products Best of Year in Interior Design magazine’s annual awards program. The biophilia-inspired Urban Retreat™ Collection won Best of Year in the Flooring: Green category. Walk the Plank™, a carpet tile with a skinny plank shape, took home the trophy in the Flooring: Carpet/Modular category.

Interface previews UR501™, a new Urban Retreat™ pattern, at IIDEX 2012. UR501 is a long, narrow plank style with a carved texture reminiscent of rough-hewn hardwood. Its unique shape and an additional eight bright colour options create additional design opportunities.

Design Trends Found at Stockholm Furniture Fair

Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair is the world's largest event for Scandinavian furniture and lighting design. This year, opulence was a prominent theme with lots of metallics on display, along with the glamorous Pantone Colour of the Year: Rose Quartz and Serenity. Interface featured colourful inspiration boards and was positioned amongst influential and trend setting brands.
